Theme of the Conference
The global challenges of poverty, health, education, environmental conservation, and gender inequality are issues that are universally confronted. This serves as one of the reasons why the United Nations (UN) has devised the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Gender inequality is one of the goals set to be solved by 2030. However, based on current indicators and targets set by United Nations, the world is still unable to solve Gender Inequality by 2030. Therefore, it is imperative to augment the awareness, understanding, and dedication of all individuals engaged in the industry. This is to ensure that strategic plans and empowerment initiatives for women are comprehensively integrated into the lives of every individual, aligning with the established objectives of the United Nations.
InHEIC 2024 draws together scholars, research institutions, practitioners in the hospitality sector, experts in the field of local wisdom and culture, as well as entrepreneurs to discuss innovation, strategies, and new trends that can help the hospitality industry to overcome potential future problems, especially those related to woman empowerment through optimizing tourism and hospitality management, entrepreneurship, technology, and culture.
This conference will be a platform for academics, researchers and practitioners around the world to provide their respective perspectives.
